In the photo above you see Charles Peden with Milo a dog that was recovered in a parking garage that Milo led Charles to during a telephone consultation, at one point during the call Milo said “hang up already and come get me” 20 minutes later he was recovered.

As a psychic medium and animal communicator who takes great pride in being accurate, ethical and honest, it gives me great pains to “bomb” on a missing animal case.

As I recently had a case that went very poorly I would like to discuss it here so as to educate both those who do what I do as well as for those who seek out services such as the ones that I offer.

I was was contacted regarding a missing cat named Othello, not his real name … but it will do for my story.

He had gone missing and when I attempted to make contact with him, he did not connect very strongly if at all with us.

However my client said “yes” to details that I brought forward, even though I was not 100% accurate regarding the details of his age, appearance and so forth, she did not speak up – her own words in a subsequent email to me.

While not actually going through a death, I “saw” a vehicle and it seemed that he was no longer with us, so I figured he had a run in with a car and was most likely no longer with us.

Then weeks later I hear back from the client, her cat has been located through the use of his microchip. He was some distance away, Most likely transported by vehicle and I suspect he was living with another family that he may have preferred to his original “owner” regardless, when given the opportunity to connect with us, he failed to do so with any accuracy, through through the false positives my client had given me I was not aware that we did not have a solid connection with him.

As it turns out he was in very good condition when returned and based upon the evidence on the ground it would seem that he was living it up at another person’s home while his family was desperately searching for him.

The big question I have is why did my client give me false positive replies to details I brought forward? That does not help “us” it only hurts our abilities.

The other question is why did the cat not care enough about his original family to speak up when given the opportunity to communicate his condition and location?

It seems to me that the cats needs were not being fully met and that he took matters into his own hands, er paws and that he found a family that he preferred, and that when taken in to the vet or shelter in order to check up on him, the microchip was discovered and his little adventure came to a close.

I am only as good as the information I receive and if your missing animal left on their own accord, they may not wish to return. If your animal was with someone other than you, was spooked and went missing, or went missing for any reason other than leaving on their own accord, I can be highly effective.

Even if your animal does not wish to return, I can sometimes get them to open up about their complaints so that their home life may be adjusted to better suit their needs, and then they may wish to return.

If you give me false positives in the hope of “making something happen” the only thing that will happen is you and I will be disappointed with the end result. Please be honest when working with those in my profession.

The end result of this case was that I squeezed the client in with less then 24 hours notice, I scheduled them prior to when I usually make it into the office and I provided at the very least one or two follow up consultations in an attempt to recover the body of their missing animal.

So … why did I bring forward inaccurate information concerning her cat? There are several possibilities.

The cat may have told me a line of bull so as to get his owner off his back – doubtful as the details concerning his connection with me turned out to be inaccurate – as my client had said “yes” when she should have said “no”.

I suspect that either past cats of hers or other cats in the area may have tried to ride the coattails of my investigation into his disappearance.

Another possibility is that other missing animals that I had on my schedule “bled through” and tried to connect with me given that the cat that we wanted to contact was not connecting with us.

Regardless I provided a full refund for my time even though I can assure you that other professions such as search dog handlers were compensated even though they too were not able to secure the missing animal.

We, (animal communicators) are simply another tool that may be utilized when an animal goes missing. We are not a “magic bullet” if your animal left on their own and does not wish to come in there is very little we can do.

We can of course offer to chat with the animal regarding why they are leaving and perhaps their home life can be improved so that they wish to return, I have been successful with this approach in the past – on occasion.

If your animal is motivated to return and is still in good health, I can locate them even if they are three states away in the middle of a 500 square mile cattle ranch with desert scrub brush and no roads.

Please understand that the work we do is highly emotionally charged and can be very draining, the last thing that I want to do is tell someone that their missing animal is deceased – I would much rather bring forward something else, but when lied to during a reading or given false positives in the hope of forcing something to happen you not only hurt yourself, but your animal and myself or anyone else who you call upon to assist you in recovering your missing animal.

Bottom line:

Missing animal investigations are challenging and very highly emotionally charged – I can see why some animal communicators do not take them on. I have thought about not getting involved with them, but I have way too many joyful reunions and successful recoveries to ever consider no longer offering my services for recovering missing animals.

Benicia/Vallejo Humane Society Fundraiser

Various groups such as charities, schools, sports teams, clubs, neighborhood groups, animal rescue and shelters have to hold fundraisers in order to bring in funds to cover operating expenses and so forth. There are several challenges that are presented in organizing a fundraiser. In economic times such as ours, many are more reluctant to part with their hard earned money … even if it is for a good cause. Even if people are “donating” they like to get something back in return. Many of the fundraising techniques that have been successful for years are no longer as effective as they once were. There seems to be at this time, more non-profits and other groups out there than at any other time and they all want people to donate to them too. Everyone is trying to spend less on their fundraisers while bringing in more money. What is needed is something that will get people talking, interested, excited and most importantly off the couch or office chair and into a participant at your next fundraiser.

Charles Peden Psychic Medium and Animal Communicator (Pet Psychic)

How do you hold the interest of a crowd of people? Bring forward a polarizing subject, telling a wild (yet true story) and then prove it to the crowd that the story you just told was true. How you ask? By bringing in a speaker who has the ability to speak with animals and the spirits of the departed. Place him in front of your group and over the course of the next several minutes he will entertain them with his story and then answer a few questions from the crowd before settling down and channeling the animals and spirits associated with those in the room. Very detailed information and descriptions as well as messages will be delivered. Those who were skeptical at the beginning may find their beliefs shaken as evidence is brought forth that the souls of our loved ones are still with us in spirit and that our animals can communicate with us telepathically.

As a psychic medium and animal communicator Charles Peden has headlined fundraisers for such organizations as The Humane Society and even a grand opening for Wag Hotels. Charles works as a great draw to bring people in the door for special events and fundraisers. Charles is capable of connecting with an animal via name only and with the animal being located anywhere in the world or even passed. Once he begins to connect … Charles will then begin to describe various features and details pertaining to your loved one. Details may include but are not limited to age, size, color, breed, food likes, manner of passing, unusual physical markings, favorite memories, names, locations, dates and more. Of course Charles can speak to the animals in person too, it simply is not required that a photograph or description be provided in order for him to connect. Charles can work one on one or with large groups, group readings may be done for as many as sixty people at a time over the course of two hours with the ideal size around twenty.

Presently a very well known medium is charging close to $350 a person for a group reading with fifty in attendance and with a duration of two hours. Imagine spending $700 as a couple and only five minutes of time will be allocatedRobeson County, NC Humane Society Fundraiser Banner to you two on average … if anything should come through for you, which there is no guarantee of. For far less Charles can provide a similar experience including the ability to connect with plants at the same level of detail as with spirits of our loved ones both human and animal as well as living animals.

With several upcoming media appearances and an ever growing list of clients, many bookings and or reservations are now handled several days, weeks and/or months in advance. Interested parties should contact bookings@charlespeden.com and provide a brief outline of their event and in what capacity they are looking to book Charles Peden for. Those who are not sure how best to utilize someone such as Charles at their next function may receive free event planning advice and suggestions during an initial consultation, free of charge of course.

Many claim to be able to do what Charles Peden does, few can do it with the accuracy, compassion and attention to detail that Charles is able to bring to his life’s work. Simply view his past events and read some of the testimonials on his website http://www.charlespeden.com/ to get a feel for who he is and what he does.
