Have you ever wondered about what happens during a typical missing animal consultation with myself, a psychic medium and animal communicator (pet psychic) on the case?

Each week numerous cases involving missing animals are brought to me. Each one is unique, no two are exactly alike, but the process for working each case is similar.

First of all it is critical that I work with as little information up front as possible. Working with a blank slate initially is very important as first impressions often are important and can be colored by the volunteering of too much information by the client.

I only request the name and species of the missing party prior to beginning to reach out to them telepathically.

If your animal is outgoing, friendly, and responsive to you then this part is usually fairly easy depending on the circumstances surrounding their disappearance. If they are friendly towards strangers then this part can be very simple.

After putting out a verbal request for contact with the missing party, I will then wait for a connection to be established before asking where the missing party is and what has happened to them.

Frequently I will simply “see” your animal or I may “hear” what breed they are. Sometimes the details are crystal clear at the beginning of the connection,  other times it can be shaky to begin and then improving as the investigation moves forward.

I will then describe various details as they come in, looking for only a “yes” or “no” response from my client to confirm the details. On occasion other animals living or past will try and butt in to the attempt to connect with the missing party.

After a connection is confirmed by describing various details about the missing party such as physical appearance, age, personality, manner in which they went missing and more, it is then time to ask where they are and what happened to them.

Frequently I will describe the physical location the animal went missing from, before using a map to refine the search.

As I bring forward details concerning the missing pet I will often times stop and ask additional confirming questions such as type of food eaten at home relationships in the home sleeping arrangements,  past injuries and much more.

If your animal is unable to respond,  such as recently passed or choosing to leave of their own free will, there are other ways to obtain the information we are seeking. I may request the name of a past loved one who is human and in spirit.

Again the process of connecting is similar with details concerning physical appearance, age, manner of passing, career interests and more being used to confirm the connection.

After contact is firmly established, questions about what can be seen, smelled, heard, and felt will be asked to determine location of missing party. In addition questions about direction traveled or traveling, health and more can be asked.

On occasion a solid connection will be established only to find the animal clams up when asked specific questions about what happened and where they are or if they are living or passed.

It can sometimes be difficult to tell your loved ones that you did something they told you not to and now you have gotten yourself into big trouble.

In some cases an animal can be talked into coming in or meeting at a neutral location closer to where they are presently.

Sometimes you will be led to their physical remains or evidence that suggests that they are in spirit.

In a limited number of cases the animal has rehomed themselves and does not wish to return or they have been stolen and sold or used in dog fighting etc., some cases will be solved and others may lack any serious closure.

Hopefully you never have an animal come up missing or lost, but if you do, I am here to help.

In the photo above you see Charles Peden with Milo a dog that was recovered in a parking garage that Milo led Charles to during a telephone consultation, at one point during the call Milo said “hang up already and come get me” 20 minutes later he was recovered.

As a psychic medium and animal communicator who takes great pride in being accurate, ethical and honest, it gives me great pains to “bomb” on a missing animal case.

As I recently had a case that went very poorly I would like to discuss it here so as to educate both those who do what I do as well as for those who seek out services such as the ones that I offer.

I was was contacted regarding a missing cat named Othello, not his real name … but it will do for my story.

He had gone missing and when I attempted to make contact with him, he did not connect very strongly if at all with us.

However my client said “yes” to details that I brought forward, even though I was not 100% accurate regarding the details of his age, appearance and so forth, she did not speak up – her own words in a subsequent email to me.

While not actually going through a death, I “saw” a vehicle and it seemed that he was no longer with us, so I figured he had a run in with a car and was most likely no longer with us.

Then weeks later I hear back from the client, her cat has been located through the use of his microchip. He was some distance away, Most likely transported by vehicle and I suspect he was living with another family that he may have preferred to his original “owner” regardless, when given the opportunity to connect with us, he failed to do so with any accuracy, through through the false positives my client had given me I was not aware that we did not have a solid connection with him.

As it turns out he was in very good condition when returned and based upon the evidence on the ground it would seem that he was living it up at another person’s home while his family was desperately searching for him.

The big question I have is why did my client give me false positive replies to details I brought forward? That does not help “us” it only hurts our abilities.

The other question is why did the cat not care enough about his original family to speak up when given the opportunity to communicate his condition and location?

It seems to me that the cats needs were not being fully met and that he took matters into his own hands, er paws and that he found a family that he preferred, and that when taken in to the vet or shelter in order to check up on him, the microchip was discovered and his little adventure came to a close.

I am only as good as the information I receive and if your missing animal left on their own accord, they may not wish to return. If your animal was with someone other than you, was spooked and went missing, or went missing for any reason other than leaving on their own accord, I can be highly effective.

Even if your animal does not wish to return, I can sometimes get them to open up about their complaints so that their home life may be adjusted to better suit their needs, and then they may wish to return.

If you give me false positives in the hope of “making something happen” the only thing that will happen is you and I will be disappointed with the end result. Please be honest when working with those in my profession.

The end result of this case was that I squeezed the client in with less then 24 hours notice, I scheduled them prior to when I usually make it into the office and I provided at the very least one or two follow up consultations in an attempt to recover the body of their missing animal.

So … why did I bring forward inaccurate information concerning her cat? There are several possibilities.

The cat may have told me a line of bull so as to get his owner off his back – doubtful as the details concerning his connection with me turned out to be inaccurate – as my client had said “yes” when she should have said “no”.

I suspect that either past cats of hers or other cats in the area may have tried to ride the coattails of my investigation into his disappearance.

Another possibility is that other missing animals that I had on my schedule “bled through” and tried to connect with me given that the cat that we wanted to contact was not connecting with us.

Regardless I provided a full refund for my time even though I can assure you that other professions such as search dog handlers were compensated even though they too were not able to secure the missing animal.

We, (animal communicators) are simply another tool that may be utilized when an animal goes missing. We are not a “magic bullet” if your animal left on their own and does not wish to come in there is very little we can do.

We can of course offer to chat with the animal regarding why they are leaving and perhaps their home life can be improved so that they wish to return, I have been successful with this approach in the past – on occasion.

If your animal is motivated to return and is still in good health, I can locate them even if they are three states away in the middle of a 500 square mile cattle ranch with desert scrub brush and no roads.

Please understand that the work we do is highly emotionally charged and can be very draining, the last thing that I want to do is tell someone that their missing animal is deceased – I would much rather bring forward something else, but when lied to during a reading or given false positives in the hope of forcing something to happen you not only hurt yourself, but your animal and myself or anyone else who you call upon to assist you in recovering your missing animal.

Bottom line:

Missing animal investigations are challenging and very highly emotionally charged – I can see why some animal communicators do not take them on. I have thought about not getting involved with them, but I have way too many joyful reunions and successful recoveries to ever consider no longer offering my services for recovering missing animals.

Charles Peden Psychic Medium & Animal Communicator

Since 2006 Charles Peden a Psychic Medium and Animal Communicator, (pet psychic) has been assisting people find their missing and lost animals. Through the use of telepathic communication Peden is able to connect with the missing animal and bring forward details only known to the owner in order to confirmation a connection with the animal.

Details such as an accurate physical description, the animals age, circumstances surrounding the disappearance and more may be brought forward to confirm a connection with the lost animal.

Please do not provide a photograph or a description of the missing animal, Peden likes to work with a “blank slate” so to speak.

Peden works with only a name to go on and after the confirmation of a connection has been established, Peden will ask the animal a series of questions to determine what has happened to them and most importantly where they are.

Animals are able to relay detailed information such as the names of towns, street names, numbers, smells and sounds within the area and more to Peden so that a focused search of the area where the animal is can begin.

While not every case ends in a joyful re-union, the majority of those contacting Peden for help with locating a missing animal will either receive closure or find their missing animal.

Most recently a lost dog in Tucson, Arizona was located after the owners contacted Peden to help in recovering their missing animal. They “drove right to him” based upon the information that Peden was able to provide.

Peden’s services do not stop there, he is able to assist with facilitating a “conversational” connection with your animals and he provides theses services worldwide via the internet and the phone.

Hello Charles,

Carly returned just in time to celebrate my birthday with me last week. 🙂

One of the key elements in the reading was geese being fattened up for slaughter. You directed me to Slaughterville Road, and a church with a white steeple on that road. I left flyers there and planted a poster at the nearest stop sign. I drove down a hwy in the area that I’d never driven before. I felt very lost and unsure if I was headed in a helpful direction. Its importance didn’t register with me at the time, but I passed a tire shop – a place that uses an air gun/impact wrench type tool that makes noise like what Carly described to you that she could hear. Though I felt I was far away from the right search point, I planted a poster at that intersection. Later I discovered that tire shop was in close proximity to where Carly was ultimately found, only I had approached it from the opposite direction.

The next day I got a call from a woman, Teresa, who had sighted Carly. She saw one of my posters and called to say Carly had been at her house two nights prior. Her son wanted to keep her, but her husband said no, she belongs to someone, let her go back to her home. They never realized of course just how far from home she actually was. Well, the woman and her family live in Slaughterville! I knew we were on to something, so I rushed out there to put more posters in that vicinity. As I was hanging posters, Teresa drove past and introduced herself. She had more news – Carly had been at a neighbor’s house the night before, eating from an automatic feeder! Now we have a sighting only 14 hours earlier.

Later that evening, Teresa called to say she had Carly in her car! She had driven further east of where Carly was last seen, and found her walking down the street. This was at least 1.5 miles from Teresa’s house.

When I arrived at Teresa’s house to get Carly, I noticed the house had dark, muted green shutters – the dark green trim you saw in the reading. Also notable is that they are building an addition on the house – another possible source of the air gun sound – a nail gun?

Your intuitive input along with old fashioned footwork and good-hearted people combined to bring my girl home!

Thank you so much for your invaluable help.

While I don’t really enjoy working lost animal cases, (working one means that someone is missing a loved one) I do find great joy in assisting in the successful recovery of a missing animal.

Working missing animal cases can be very draining, after all every client is dealing with the nightmare of a loved one being gone and are desperate for answers and closure.

Unfortunately not all cases end up with a happy reunion, however many do, they are the ones that keep me going in this tough line of work, and I would like to share one such recent story with you, here is my clients testimonial, my comments are below.

I contacted Charles on Sunday, September 18, 2011, after our cat Silky had been missing more than 35 days.  We weren’t sure if she was still alive, and had all but given up hope of seeing her again.  Charles’ first impressions were that our cat was still alive, and he saw box-type trucks nearby.
I asked Charles if he could connect with my other beloved cat, Pollyanna, whom had died on August 13, 2011 and ask her about Silky.  Charles instantly picked up Pollyanna’s energy.  Pollyanna informed him that Silky was alive and seemed to be moving to and fro in a confined area.  I told Charles that a canal runs behind my house and it continues right behind a U-Haul truck business.  Charles felt Silky was near that business.  Indeed she was!  Trapped in the canal, unable to escape over the 20 foot tall cement walls on both sides.  We placed a trap in the canal, and after 38 days and a strong will to live, we got our Silky back.  Thanks to Charles’ God-given abilities to connect to all animals living or passed on, we now have our Silky back home.
Our family highly recommends Charles for any needs you may have regarding animals.  He is a kind and compassionate gentleman.
Mr. and Mrs Peck, Concord, Ca
This particular case was difficult to some extent for me as I was concerned about giving false hope where there was none, however no matter how I asked the question regarding the cat still being alive I always got the same reply, a big “Yes!”
Trusting my instincts, the information coming in and the fact that I have brought many other animals home safely I “stuck to my guns” and was successful in relay accurate information as to the animals whereabouts and condition.

When one is dealing with a missing animal it is important that we do not assume what has happened until proof has been brought forward. In cases where the animal has passed, frequently the animal’s body is no longer available to be recovered – as in eaten by coyotes or other animals. In some cases the animal’s body is unrecoverable without valiant efforts such as recovering a body that has been swept out to sea or that has gotten lost in the wilderness with very little in the way of landmarks and roads to guide a recovery.

Another type of case where a physical body recovery is not possible is where the animal chooses to shield us from the difficulty of their passing. If a passing was tragic, such as being hit by a vehicle, your animal may not wish to allow you to view their body in such a state. By preventing you from seeing this, they are protecting you, and themselves from having to be further reminded of the incident that was responsible for their passing.

If I am unable to reunite you with your animal, or if I am unable to lead you to their remains, I can still provide closure.

Recently I was chatting with a dog who had passed some time ago. The person never really had closure, the animal “disappeared” while he was still living at home with his parents. His folks had put his dog down and did not have the decency to tell him the truth of what had taken place. When the dog came through there was a wealth of personal details regarding favorite memories, past injuries, specific life events and even the location where he had lived with this dog was brought forward. While not a “missing” animal case this was still closure being brought forward, many years after the events had transpired.

The first 48 hours after an animal goes missing are critical. Many times people resort to an animal communicator (pet psychic) as a last resort, while I believe that it is one of the first people you should call, knowing the right area to search makes all the difference.  Being able to communicate with a scared animal companion may mean the difference between life or death for them. Had I not made contact with the cat in the testimonial above, and had a large volume of water ran through the canal, I can assure you that cat would not be at home right now, instead they would most likely have drowned and never been recovered.

Granted some animals do not wish to come home, when they took off it was not because they were scared, but rather unhappy with home life and seeking to find a new family or try and make it on their own. Some missing animals join packs or feral colonies and sometimes animals just are finding their wild side. There was a book written along those lines by Jack London, “The Call of The Wild.” When an animal chooses to leave, or while out on their own, decides to try and make it by themselves, there is not much I can do.

If you are a concerned individual, but not the primary party tied to a high profile case, please understand the following; I only work missing animal and missing persons investigations when working directly with the immediate family involved or the lead law enforcement agency involved. You may alert the parties involved as to my services, you may pay for my services, however I will not work any case that I am not in direct contact with the principal parties involved.

I do not provide my services unsolicited, nor do I have a “take” or an “opinion” with regards to any public, high profile cases … yes, I do get called in to work some of them, however not everyone is comfortable with publicly acknowledging the use of a person with my abilities and there is a certain level of discretion and that is expected when involved in such work.

To learn more about my work as an animal communicator and or to book a session, please call 925-360-7469 and or visit www.charlespeden.com.

I suppose that you have not made it, in a controversial field until the critics of your chosen line of work begin targeting you. With that being said, I was rather amused when I read my first piece of unflattering commentary and opinion in a Chicago area online news publication. One of the contributors to the paper had written a piece titled, “Dr. Doolittle works better in movie than in real life.” The author of the piece “Jerry Moore” goes on to write about how hearing an interview with me on WGN radio recently had awoken the skeptic in him. To his credit, I too would have been skeptical listening to that interview as recently as 2006, however my own personal experiences with the supernatural, ghosts, communications from the other side and even the ability to communicate with living animals telepathically has changed my beliefs and knowledge of the world that we live in.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinions on any and every subject , it is a bit different when you make them public in a forum such as a newspaper or TV show. By going public with your viewpoints, or opinions, you are by proxy advertising yourself as somewhat of an expert in the field being commented on or at the very least you are expected to have your facts right and to have researched your subject prior to speaking about it.

Up until this article came out, all the articles written about me are from reporters and journalists who took the time to research the subject that they were writing about. I have provided readings on air while being interviewed on the radio and I have provided readings to reporters who were shocked by the material brought through and then went on to write about their own experience.

Had the author of this un-researched article bothered to read my web site (he claims he did) he would have seen that my very first testimonial is from a woman whose dog I assisted in recovering, she credits me for locating her and says that without my help it would not have been possible for her to have closure, (testimonial is located near the bottom of the home page) In the most recent TV news story which discusses my work in finding lost animals, the owner of Milo a dog that went missing in downtown Chicago is seen on camera saying that after spending less than an hour with her on the phone that I led her right to her dog.

Jerry Moore goes on to say that Karl, (the owner of the dog that is missing in the Wood Dale area near Chicago (which I was being interviewed about)) had contracted my services in locating Queenie, the missing dog. In fact it was due to the publicity surrounding my assisting in the return of Milo that led to my being involved in the hunt for Queenie.

A volunteer at the PACT Humane Society came to me with the story about Karl and his missing dogs, she then paid for my services, enough to cover about two house of my time at my regular rates. However I ended up spending over eight hours on the investigation and donated the bulk of my time. I worked directly with both Karl and his fiance’ Amy as well as with several members of the PACT Humane Society.

While looking for Queenie it became apparent to me and other members of the search team, that she was not ready to come in yet. Through my abilities I was successful in pulling a volunteer search team out of the Wood Dale area and in to the Elk Grove area where we were able to pick up a trail that had gone cold for over a week. Pretty soon I had the search teams within an hour of her location, unfortunately time worked against us and we lost her in a large field as dark closed in on the search teams. After coming so close to finding her, we decided to change tactics and to begin a more aggressive public awareness campaign and expect that once the weather changes and food becomes more scarce, that she will “turn herself in.”

Jerry goes on to comment “But it’s hard to take this stuff seriously, as Peden offers plenty of caveats about his readings. Sometimes he’s able to find lost pets; sometimes he’s not. Sounds like the same chances that volunteer searchers have on any given day.”

If my family member was missing, animal or human and there was any chance that consulting a psychic medium and animal communicator would increase the chances of being able to locate them, I would certainly give it a shot … but not prior to having my own experiences … I too was a skeptic.

Mr. Moore, I am offering you an opportunity to experience my abilities either over the phone or in an IM chat session. I will with only the name of the animal make a connection with them, describe them back to you, (physical descriptions, ages, manner of passing etc.)  and I will answer any questions that you ask of them in order to confirm a connection. Please call me 925-360-7469 or email me charles@charlespeden.com and I will be happy to provide you with a demonstration of my abilities.
August 8, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A dog named Milo that disappeared while his owner rushed to help a woman is back by her side, thanks to a dog communicator.

Screen Capture ABC News 7 Chicago

August 8, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) — A dog named Milo that disappeared while his owner rushed to help a woman is back by her side, thanks to a dog communicator.

Kristin Yoshida and Milo were out for a walk when a woman tried to jump from the CTA stop at Kinzie and Wells. Yoshida pulled the woman to safety, but dropped Milo’s leash. She said she called a “dog communicator” who suggested Milo might be in a parking garage. Yoshida’s father found the dog in the parking garage of Yoshida’s building.

“We were on the phone for less than an hour and he led me right to my dog. And he kept saying something about the number five. I always park down here and today my car is on the fifth floor because there was no parking when I came home,” Yoshida said.

Milo was thirsty and hungry when she found him, but seems to be fine.

Unfortunately the story above lacks several details, as I am the “dog communicator” Animal Communicator, (Pet Psychic) who led Kristin to Milo, let me share my side of the story.

August 8th, 2011 was already a busy day with a house call earlier in the day to look into a possible ghost issue at a nearby residence. After identifying the ghost and encouraging him to move on, I returned home just in time to spend some quality time with my family.

While sitting down and enjoying a family movie, my phone rang and I knew that it was an emergency. As I left the living room I told my family that I had to take the call and went downstairs to my office.

A woman had been walking her dog 48 hours ago and had prevented someone from committing suicide, and while doing so dropped her dogs leash, the dog then ran off. Only knowing that this had taken place around the Chicago area and that the dog’s name was Milo, I proceeded to telepathically connect with Milo and assisted in leading Kristin to him.

Prior to describing Milo to Kristin, I saw a small Yorkie like dog, (as it turns out – that dog was missing too and also was in the Chicago area.)

When I connected with Milo he told me that he was a medium to large dog, with a lot of black on his face. He told me that he was a working breed.

Kristin confirmed the details and then I asked if the bridge was over a narrow yet deep body of water, she said no … I then saw the water turn green and knew that I was dealing with an incident that took place in the downtown part of Chicago. I pulled up a map and while doing so I told Kristin that the bridge was not over water, and that she had been just north of downtown Chicago, which she then confirmed.

While looking at the map (via Google) of the city, I saw an intersection that caught my attention. I asked her about the area near the intersection of Kinzie and Wells. Kristin was surprised that I asked her about that location and then confirmed that was where she had lost Milo.

I then “saw” a number five and asked if Milo was five and Kristin said “No.” I then told her that number was important and to set it to the side until I made more sense of it.

I then “saw” the river again and saw a big bend in it. Then I “saw” a parking garage.

I felt as though Milo was trapped, unharmed, thirsty, hungry and dry.

Again I “saw” a parking garage, Kristin told me that she thought he had gone into one and began asking questions about it.

As it turned out, I ended up describing two parking garages, one with a single level (the one she thought he was in) and I “saw” another garage that Kristin recognized as being hers at home. The garage at her home was multi-level. I “saw” Milo on the fifth floor. He was under a white vehicle that was a cross between an SUV and a sedan, the vehicle had a green logo or lettering on it.

I also “saw” the public art sculpture that Milo frequently uses as his place to take care of “business.”

At one point I told Kristin to stop wasting time and go out and bring Milo home as he was thirsty and trapped by his leash under the vehicle.

Kristin asked me if Milo would come to her father or if she would be the one to find him, I told her that her father would connect with him.

After the call I had an errand to run and headed down the mountain and into town. On the way down the hill my cell phone rang, it was Kristin, they had just found Milo.

Milo was found on the 5th floor of Kristin’s parking garage. The images I was shown of the one story garage have to do with him going there first. He then showed me several locations he is familiar with while walking around downtown Chicago. The last pieces of information he showed me had to do with him being in his person’s parking garage. Milo was located under a white minivan that was an Enterprise rental vehicle, it had the word Enterprise in green on the vehicle.

Later that evening all of the major Chicago based television stations ran a story about how Milo was found with the aid of a “dog communicator” or animal communicator as I like to be referred to.

Not all tales have a happy ending, lost animal cases, next to missing person cases, are some of the most difficult types of readings to do. Sometimes great joy can be found in a tearful reunion, other times tragic events have unfolded and the animal may have been killed or as in one recent case, they simply do not wish to return home for one reason or another.

Among the world of animal communicators, there are only a handful that work missing animal cases, and even fewer who work without a photo and or description of the animal who has gone missing. I only require the animal’s name in order to establish a connection. Once I have brought forward details that confirm a connection, such as age, breed, physical appearance, events that led up to the animal going missing etc., then I can work with the animal to find out where they are and if it is possible for them to come home on their own, or if I should direct the pet owner to recover them themselves.

Recently while working with a particularly difficult animal, it became apparent to me that my client had perhaps an unrealistic expectation when it came to what an animal communicator can and cannot do. This posting will address what you can expect and what you should not expect from a professional pet psychic, (animal communicator.)

Animal communicators are not a cure all, just as a therapist or counselor can communicate with the person having problems – it is dependent upon the party who needs help, accepting the help and communicating themselves. Just because we can talk with our children does not mean that they mind us, the same is true of our animal companions.

Most offending behaviors that animals display can be lumped into one of two categories. The first, acting out due to anger or frustration about their needs not being met. Secondly, a health problem that has not been properly identified and addressed. Sure, there are other reasons to act out, jealously, past trauma, a tension filled environment and other possible triggers, however the majority of “bad” behaviors often are triggered by the first two causes that were mentioned.

Let’s address the first one, your animals needs are not being met. Causes can include such issues as the following:

  1. Lack of stimulation, such as play time and outside time.
  2. A shortage of access to clean food and water.
  3. Improper grooming and or filthy living quarters.
  4. Too hot or too cold of an environment.
  5. Overloaded litter boxes.
  6. Strong smells in their environment.
  7. The introduction of additional animals and or family members which upset the balance of attention in the home.

Most of the above mentioned issues are fairly obvious and easy to rectify, however with the busy lives that us humans lead, sometimes our animal companions are accidently neglected. When an animal has a problem such as described above, they are limited in what they can do to get our attention. Frequently when an animal is upset, they will exhibit a “bad” behavior, such as tearing up furniture, urinating and defecating in unacceptable locations, barking uncontrollably or worse, becoming aggressive. Unfortunately us humans frequently address the problem behavior, without understanding the cause. When this approach is employed it only causes more frustration and potential anger and frustration in the animal, leading to the situation becoming worse.

The second major issue, undiagnosed health issues also can become a battle within the home. Consider the following issues and how difficult they may be for the animal to relay to us.

  1. Loss of hearing and or loss of sight.
  2. Toothache, difficulty eating and or loss of weight along with a irritable disposition.
  3. Muscle and or tendon damage, such as sprains, pulls and tears.
  4. Stomach ulcers, various cancers and other chronic conditions.
  5. Urinary infections, bladder stones, and such.
  6. Arthritis, and joint pain.
  7. Skin irritations.
  8. Allergies and food sensitivities.
  9. Mental issues, (dementia, chemical imbalances etc.)

With the above issues and many not listed, it may or may not be obvious to us as to what the problem is. In the case of a urinary infection, the animal may begin urinating outside of the litter box which could also indicate that the animal is upset with us over a need not being met. In the case of a urinary infection, we are lucky in that it is easy to diagnose by either ourselves or with a quick trip to the vet, and treatment is fairly straightforward. With such an issue as stomach ulcers, various cancers, as well as muscular and or neurological conditions, and so forth, diagnoses may be a bit more problematic. This is when a battery of tests is often embarked upon, frequently with each test costing more than the last one and all in an effort to pinpoint the cause of the problems being exhibited, by the process of elimination.

If your animal has a condition that is difficult to identify and is causing either you or the animal great difficulties either mentally or physically, and you are going through test after test or being presented a whole litany of tests and paths to follow by your animals medical care provider, a reputable animal communicator may be very beneficial in that they can help to pinpoint what tests should be performed. That being said, I would like to point out several things with regard to animal communicators, but first I would like to provide a definition of what an animal communicator or pet psychic is, as some of them call themselves.

Essentially an animal communicator is one who claims the following:

  1. That they have the ability to communicate with your animals.
  2. That the communication will be received via telepathy and that the animal need not be present.
  3. That this communication will be very detailed and include specific details that only you and your animal would know.
  4. That the communication can take place over any distance.
  5. That the communication with your animal is not dependent upon them being living, in that they can speak with those who have passed, as well as the living.

As a former skeptic of such abilities, I will outline how one can easily provide a convincing reading that is completely fraudulent with only a few pieces of information to go on.

  • Too often I am asked if I need to see a photograph of the animal that they wish to communicate with. If you claim to be able to communicate with the animal telepathically, why do you need a picture?
  • With a photograph the “animal communicator” now knows the physical appearance of the animal and clues to their age. Perhaps there is additional information about you and or the animal contained within the photo, such as a gathering with family or your animal’s sleeping quarters, toys etc.
  • Many “pet psychics” request the age of your animal and perhaps even their birthdate.
  • With knowledge of the breed, it is pretty easy to simply provide details that are consistent with qualities and or issues associated with that particular type of animal. Of course, once again, if you can talk telepathically with animals, why do you need to ask the animals age, when they can simply tell you how old they are.
  • Some “animal communicators” will even ask for details regarding the animal and it’s health. Once again, why provide details, when this person claims to communicate with animals, many are well intentioned, yet are hacks at it.
  • Simply being able to recognize or hear a language does not make us literate and or fluent in it.

With one possessing the name, age, physical description and or breed, perhaps even details regarding medical history and often times much more, it is easy to reinforce some common issues with the particular breed and situation as well as providing flattery regarding you and your animal – after all who would not want to hear pleasing platitudes regarding their animal, provided that it is the truth of course. How does one know if what the animal communicator is saying is genuine? After all with the wealth of information you provided, “in order to establish a connection” as so many animal communicators/pet psychics claim, how does one know what to believe and what not to believe?

I suggest applying the following to your search for a reputable animal communicator/pet psychic:

  • Do not provide details regarding your animal/s and or situation in your initial contact with a prospective animal communicator. Instead one should simply state their purpose for contact, such as wishing to contact a living animal and one that has passed as well. Please don’t include their breeds, ages, pictures or anything else in your email or phone call.
  • Once you have an appointment set up, resist the urge to send pictures to the animal communicator – we all love our fur babies, but the photos are not needed and can only hurt the opportunity to receive a quality reading. Also hold back on providing back story, or anything else for that matter. Instead you should sit down and write down the names of those you wish to contact, living and or deceased and then write down your questions for them. The further in advance that you do this, the easier the reading is. Writing down your questions in advance provides the animals an opportunity to formulate well thought out responses to your questions.

What to expect during a reading:

  1. At the start of the reading, do not volunteer information, simply state your primary objective and the name and species of the animal you wish to connect with. While the name is required, the species is not – it simply makes it much easier for the animal communicator to establish a connection as quickly as possible.
  2. Within a very short period of time, usually seconds, a description should begin coming through. Details to expect would be among the following:
  3. Physical appearance, such as  size, coloring, type of coat and in some cases the name of the breed.
  4. Frequently unusual markings, scars, past injuries, if passed – the way they passed, or what claimed their life will come through.
  5. Favorite toys, games, foods, treats, activities, memories and more will very often come through.
  6. Your animals age, (bearing in mind that the gestation period counts towards overall age) perhaps even specific ages or dates in respect to you and your relationship with the animal, such as how long they have lived with you.
  7. Bear in mind that not all animals communicate the same, just as not all humans have the ability to sing well.
  8. With a good connection, the communication should be very “conversational” and not in the least bit cryptic.
  9. If your animal has passed, it is very common for something that has happened recently to you since their passing being brought up, frequently even details from earlier during the day you receive the reading will be brought forth.
  10. Occasionally details that you are unable to confirm right away will come through, simply make a note of them and later they will either come to pass or make sense to you.

Additional details to consider regarding the relationship between your animal, yourself and the animal communicator:

  • The animal knows what their person is doing – your animals are dialed into you nearly 24/7 on a telepathic level. This applies to those in spirit as well.
  • If an animal’s person has contacted an animal communicator, trust me – the animal is all ears. Your animal companions are listening, responding to your inquires and or comments is up to them.
  • So much of telepathic communication is dependent upon what the intent is, so when the animal and the pet psychic look to connect the connection is usually secured within seconds. This takes place with the animal in the same room as the animal communicator, or over vast distances such as thousands of miles away.
  • The animal does not need to be present with their person.
  • The animal must be awake, if the animal has passed, they no longer sleep and therefore we do not have to worry about if they are awake or not.

Is it possible that there will be times when your animal will not communicate?

The answer is a simple yes, for many reasons they may not respond, including but not limited to the following:

  1. If the relationship between the two of you was not very good, they may hold a grudge and not respond – though they can still hear you.
  2. If the animal is asleep they will usually not connect.
  3. When distracted by a demanding environment, such as outrunning a predator, it is possible that they will be too busy to connect.
  4. Animals, like us tend to focus on what is physically in front of them and when in unfamiliar environments they tend to be distracted easily.
  5. Animals that have passed tend to be very easy to connect with, and frequently their communication is improved upon their passing (in several instances where I have communicated with the animal well before passing and some time after passing.) The exception occasionally seems to be roughly a two week window following their passing, free of their physical restrictions and able to reunite with loved ones in spirit, they may take off for a while. Also on occasion they are still “getting their bearings” and after a few days or so will be in a much better position to communicate.

Most of the time your animal will communicate readily, in detail with a reputable animal communicator. There are of course exceptions to the rule, and hopefully there is now a greater understanding of what to expect and what not to expect when consulting an animal communicator/pet psychic.

A few additional words of wisdom:

  • Obsessive compulsive behaviors are difficult to correct and while an animal communicator may help, there certainly is no guarantee. On the other hand if you need to check in with your animal and find out how they feel about your bringing another animal into the home or end of life questions and such, an good animal communicator is nearly guaranteed to bring forward meaningful answers.
  • In my experience the best animal communicators/pet psychics do not avoid missing and or lost animal cases and will readily take them on.
  • During the first part of the reading you should ask “control” questions. These are questions that are designed to confirm a connection to the animal that you wish to connect with. Early on it is best to ask questions of a simply yes or no nature in their reply. This is very important when doing a reading in person and the animal is either present, or a photograph and or description has already been provided. Remember, the best pet psychics do not require a photograph in order to secure a telepathic connection with your animal.
  • The more time that is spent with the animal, frequently the better the communication becomes and often times you will find that absolutely any questions are fair game, regardless of the type of response required.
  • Never consult with an animal communicator or pet psychic who does not offer refunds for a failure to connect and bear in mind that more expensive, does not always mean better.
  • Most importantly remember that a reputable animal communicator  is relay messages from your animals to you.
  • Your animal communicator most likely is not a trained behaviorist, doctor, trainer or vet. An animal communicator is simply a translator and advisor, by utilizing their gifts you can experience a stronger bond, connection and a deeper level of understanding and respect.
  • If for some reason your animal points you in the wrong direction or simply says something to get you off their back, remember that they most likely learned such behaviors from you. One unusual phenomena that occurs in a few older female dogs that have older women for their caretakers is that frequently the dogs will fudge on their age by a few years, kind of like you saying that you are still celebrating your 39th birthday, for the 5th time.

During a recent radio show appearance the subject of how do you find a good animal communicator came up. Something that I noticed while reviewing the web sites of others who claim to be able to communicate with animals was that a number of them had “red flags” (in my opinion) regarding their actual abilities and what they claim to do.

Let’s discuss these “red flags” and how they are perceived as such.

  1. The individual offers animal communication services, yet does not take on cases involving lost or missing animals.
  2. The “animal communicator” requests a photo or description of your animal and may inquire to the animals age.
  3. The “animal communicator” can only work with animals.

1.) This is something that I simply do not understand, if you are able to communicate with animals telepathically why would you avoid these types of readings? I think that it is for the following reasons.

  • A reading for a lost/missing animal is very results oriented, and simple platitudes and observations concerning the animal will not satisfy the client. If the “animal communicator” is unsure of their abilities, they may stay away from these cases.
  • I simply do not “buy” that these people are simply avoiding working these cases because they are too difficult or draining, if you truly can talk with animals why would you not want to help bring an animal back home?

2.) Why would one who can communicate with animals require a description or photograph in order to make a connection?

  • When I am asked to make a connection all I ask for is the name of the animal that we are looking to connect with, if you can talk to the animal, they can describe their appearance.
  • I consider my ability to describe the animal with only a name to work on as proof that I can connect, in addition many breeds have breed specific issues and once the “animal communicator” knows what breed they are working with as well as the age, they can “spin” the rest of the session by offering up material that is specific to the breed you have and based upon the age that you tell them.
  • One of my strongest ways of proving a connection is not only can I describe your animals to you, they will also tell me their ages, why would an “animal communicator” need to know the animals age in advance … unless they are not able to do what they claim to do.
  • I will allow that there are some who are legitimate and yet they continue to ask for photo’s, descriptions and ages of the animals they are being asked to connect with. I challenge those who do this to step away from such crutches and rely upon your abilities … provided that you can do what you claim to do.

3.) News flash … if you can communicate with animals telepathically, you can communicate with all spirits.

  • This is something that really irks me … why do some people claim to only channel one entity or “great spirit” in my experience, if you are capable of talking with an animal you can talk with spirits and if you can talk with spirits, you can talk with all of them, not just one.

I actually ran across one site where there was a disclaimer that read something to the effect of: If I am having an “off” day I may not be able to read for you since I need to be 100% in order to do what I do. I will know within a minute or two of our session starting as to if I am able to work with you or not, should I pull the plug, I will suggest other animal communicators to you to try.

What a load of “horses**t” I read that to mean … If I cannot fool you and I feel like I am being challenged, I will pull the plug.

I have had my off days … we all have but let me be frank with you. Even when I am sick I can channel, even after taking narcotics for pain I can channel (don’t ask … but trust me it still works) even after drinking I can channel, (once again don’t ask) even if I have had no sleep I can channel. When you can talk with animals and spirits and you do it daily or at least weekly … it becomes very “conversational” in that it really does not take any more effort than talking with your friends or loved ones, sure you may feel a bit under the weather, but you can still carry on a conversation.

In closing … use caution when booking an animal communicator, (pet psychic) and remember that I am here to assist you should you wish to connect with your animals.

Thank you,

Recently I was invited by Macy’s department stores to provide my services as a psychic medium at a special function of theirs. Macy’s was hosting an in-store after hours special spa event with makeovers, perfume and a little something extra for the mind, body and soul … a psychic reading. Customers who spent a certain minimum were offered the opportunity to get in line for a quick five to seven minute reading with me.

Many of those who came to see me had never been to a psychic before and had no idea what the procedure was. One of the most common questions I fielded was “what do you see around me?” Now, I could have tried to “simply see what is around them” but, that can take some time … and unless a particular spirit is jumping up and down to get my attention, they typically do not just simply have something around them. Trust me, if there is a message for you from spirit, I will do my best to relay it to you and they will do their best to get my attention.

When you come to see a psychic, usually (if the person has sought me out) they have a specific intent, mission … piece of information that they are attempting to connect with. There are many reasons for visiting a psychic such as:

  • A death in the family – looking for closure.
  • A desire to communicate with ones animals, past or present.
  • Seeking information concerning their life path and or career.
  • Looking for answers in respect to a relationship.
  • Seeking clarity and understanding associated with their own “psychic” experiences.
  • Looking for additional confirmation regarding events in your life.
  • A desire to review your past lives.
  • To remove or understand an unknown entity/ghost from your home or place of business.
  • An opportunity to connect with plant life and more …
  • Questions concerning an unsolved crime or missing person.
  • Locating a missing animal such as a dog or cat.
  • Garnering additional information so as to make a better informed decision regarding business.
  • Developing your own intuitive/psychic abilities.
  • Simply because it can be fun.
  • A desire to connect with ascended masters and or famous people from the past.
  • Locating missing objects such as a cellphone, keys, stolen car etc.
  • To gain a better understanding of matters related to health and well being.
  • For a better understanding of the universe and how we are all connected.
  • To reconnect with a long lost loved one, living or past.

Occasionally people will ask questions of psychics that if the psychic is ethical and any good at what they do – they will either ignore, redirect or avoid these types of questions:

  • What are the winning lottery numbers?
  • Any other type of gambling or betting related question, such as who will win the game?
  • Frequently when faced with major decisions such as purchasing/selling a home or stocks, the psychic may be only able to offer additional insights and not answer the question directly for you.
  • To seek out information concerning a person that they are not connected to such as a fan wishing to obtain information on a celebrity whom they are obsessed with … yes it’s happened.
  • Desiring to “make/force” someone to love you or do something else that is not in their nature and of their own free will.
  • Placing “spells or curses” on anyone or making and marketing “potions and or magic candles.” Nothing good can come from these things.
  • When will I or someone else die? Please don’t ask, trust me … you do not want to know, nor should you.

Questions that are difficult to work with, but do not fall into the above categories would be as follows:

  • What do you see around me?
  • When and will I meet the man/woman of my dreams?
  • Am I going to be a success?

As I am asked the above three questions with great frequency I will address each one individually.

The “What do you see around me?” question is simply not needed. If there is a spirit who wishes to relay a message to you, it will happen.

“When will I meet the man/woman of my dreams/” is one that is a bit trickier. If I were to tell you the time, date and location where you are going to meet them as well as what they look like etc., I would be shortchanging the natural process. Say you show up at the location on the date and time I mention and you spot the individual I have told you about, your expectations, nerves and such would most likely cause you to blow it. It is important that connecting with someone take place organically. When you are looking for a new relationship the first thing to ask yourself, is would you date yourself? Is there something about you that needs to be worked on such as your attitude, your expectations, or??? Potential mates are turned off by insecurity, depression, unhappiness, poor health and are attracted to confidence,  vitality, happiness and a zest for life. When looking to start a new relationship, ask yourself … are you happy with yourself? If not … work on your shortcomings so that you are happy with yourself and you will find that attracting a mate is much easier.

It is key that when thinking about the type of person that you wish to connect with that you use positive affirmations as opposed to negative ones. Do not ask the universe to send someone who does not physically abuse you as by emphasizing the abuse, you will drawn it towards you … like attracts like. When thinking of your ideal mate, say such things as they are compassionate, respectful, loving, tender and caring. Emphasize the qualities that you are attracted to and avoid mentioning the traits that you wish to avoid.

The “Am I going to be a success?” question is tricky too. I had an associate of mine who asked me if their business was going to be a success this year. Now I could tell them that “yes, it will do very well” to which they may respond to by not making an effort and expecting business to grow on it’s own. The converse is that if I tell you that the business will not do well, you will not make an effort since you believe that nothing that you do will make a difference. The correct way to ask this question is to say, “What can I do to ensure that this year is a successful one for my business. That is a question that I can work with.

Now, back to the whole thing about how asking a psychic a question is like searching for information via Google. When you do a Google search, your query is typically taken very literally and as the saying goes with computers, “garbage in garbage out.” meaning that your results are only as good as your query. If you seek information concerning specific areas of your life, it is easier if you gentle nudge me in that direction and then allow me to bring forward details confirming a connection with the information that you seek.

For example: If you wish to ask about your career, do not say “I work at company X and I want to know if I should take the transfer to city X?” By revealing the company you work at and the location that you may be transferring to, you have taken some of the tools out of my psychic tool chest. In order to answer your question and know that I am getting the right information it is helpful if I describe to you what it is that you do for a living and the location that the company is considering moving you to. So it works far better if you ask the question in this format: “I am curious as to if I should take the transfer that my job is offering me?” I will then describe your work to you as well as the location they are considering moving you to. By doing this, you know that I am tapping into the right information.

When asking to connect with animal or human loved ones in spirit, please remember that anyone you are connected to is fair game. Frequently the answers to your questions will come through when looking to connect with those you wish to query. For example: Recently while being interviewed for a news article the reporter asked me to connect with one of her animals that is still living with her. Instead I saw an animal that she was connected to, but had not asked about. As soon as I began to describe what I saw, she told me that it was not who she was looking to connect with. I then asked her if this was the first animal that she had as a child when she was between 6-7 and she immediately confirmed it. I then told her that all of her animals from childhood to present were going to connect with her before we would be able to connect with her current animal. Fifteen minutes later we had connected with five animals from her past to present. Once while being asked to connect with someone’s father in spirit, I made contact and began to describe who I saw, the features I described at first matched with their father, however the other details coming through did not. I then asked who the second person I was seeing was and the person I was doing the reading for said that it was their fathers brother. I then asked what their question for their father was and they said that they had wanted to ask if their father had met up with his brother on the other side. Obviously the answer was yes, as they were coming through simultaneously.

Bottom line is this:

  1. Psychics are not here to decide things for you, but to simply provide additional information and insights into your problems.
  2. We all have our own psychic abilities that we can tap into … frequently people visit a psychic to simply hear an additional confirmation of something that they already know.
  3. We are not here to make people do something that they normally would not do, such as “casting” love spells and the like.
  4. We are not all knowing and all seeing … we are people too, just like you.
  5. When we see a calamity or issue in the future … remember that you exercise free will and in many cases you have the ability to change the outcome.
  6. The future is not written in stone.
  7. It is possible that we may not be able to assist with some some of your concerns … after all when taking a test at school, do you get to use the teachers edition in order to steal the answers? Sometimes you simply have to “bite the bullet” and figure things out for yourself.
  8. There is no such thing as cursed money that needs to be cleansed … “magic” potions, get rich quick schemes, lottery numbers and gambling advice have no business mixing with a genuine and ethical psychic.
  9. If someone claims to talk to animals, they really do not need a photo to connect, as if they are communicating with an animal, that animal can describe what they look like to the psychic telepathically.
  10. Use common sense and good judgment. Beware of “free” readings where they tell you that you have an issue that is only going to be resolved through your bank account being utilized.
  11. Just like any other profession out there, there are frauds and con artist in the psychic profession, if something does not feel right, trust your instincts and avoid the person.

A general observation:

It seems to me that those who seek out “psychic abilities – powers” are not always in it for the right reasons. In my experience these abilities are not right for everyone, some may try and abuse them while others simply cannot handle the fact that once the abilities are developed that their own life is not always their own. Spirits can stop by unannounced, whenever they feel like it, both friendly ones and (if you have not protected yourself) not so friendly spirits. If you get into this type of work simply to make money and become famous, you are doing it for the wrong reasons and will eventually fail. Many of the best psychics out there came into their abilities later in life after they had already spent some time living a “normal” life. This seems to make them more grounded and respectful of their abilities as opposed to someone who desperately is trying to develop them for their own selfish reasons. Please note that I am not trying to dissuade people from developing their abilities and utilizing them, I am simply making a casual observation.

I was successful in life in many ways before reconnecting with my psychic abilities that I had suppressed as a child. As a family man with two wonderful daughters and a loving wife who had built our own business “By the Bay Treasures” (since sold off to another party) and having co-founded the “North American Sea Glass Association.” I was content and very happy with my life prior to reconnecting with my abilities. Frankly I would most likely still be running both the association and By the Bay Treasures were it not for my life suddenly changing in 2006 when the ghost of a young murder victim appeared to me and asked for help. Very soon after that I found that it was nearly impossible to run my business. I was conducting guided kayaking and beach combing tours and during these tours I would end up channeling loved ones and animals for my clients instead of focusing exclusively on sea glass. When I would answer the phone taking orders for drill bits and sea glass as well as booking tours, I would “see” things and occasionally would mention them to the potential customer. I recall the day that I decided that I had to sell my business and focus on my psychic abilities full time. A customer had called to order drill bits and during the call I saw a two year old girl that told me that she had been a still born and that she would come back to the women again and she would have another opportunity to give birth to her. As I described what I saw, the woman confirmed a female still born from two years prior and then the line went dead … I suppose that she was not ready to talk about it yet. This type of intrusion into my business became to common that I had no choice but to focus full time on my unique abilities as a psychic medium and animal communicator.

As one develops their abilities as a psychic medium, inevitability they will at some point be asked for their take on a missing persons case. Several times we (as psychic mediums) get involved in cases where family members of the missing have been guided to us in some fashion so that they may utilize another tool in their quest for answers as they search for their missing loved one/s.  What follows will be an account of a case that I became involved in, where I have changed the names of those involved, however the rest of the details are fairly accurate.

A few years ago I was contacted by a friend who had a friend of theirs who had a family member go missing. The missing was a young woman and was reported to have last been seen in the company of a known sexual predator.

While out clubbing in New York, she hooked up with this young man and took a drive with him, after which she was never seen again. After having been missing for a few weeks, I became involved through connecting with one of her relatives and filling him in on the information that I had coming through, which he then relayed to the authorities. I also spoke directly with the authorities and urged them to check out a few leads, which they then followed up on, to no avail. This was a very difficult case, and I think that perhaps I may have overlooked some of the clues, over analyzed a few and missed a couple.

One of the very first clues that I had was a large round form like a manhole cover or similar. At the time i was using Google to view photos from the air and was attempting to line up images that I “saw” and then connecting them with landmarks. I was asking for landmarks that could be viewed from the air and I shown a large round object. At one point I thought it might be the view from the bottom of a well, looking up, but that did not fit. Roof seemed to be a clue that came forward when I was thinking about the large round object, but nothing fit … except Penn Station. When I viewed the maps, one of the first things I felt was “full circle” but when I went full circle from her last known location in NYC to where she was last sighted, about an hour and a half away and then back to Manhattan, I was lost. I saw Penn Station and while drawn too it, I could not figure out why.

During my investigation another clue came in that was very strong, covered bridges. I began to think that perhaps she had been dumped off of a covered bridge, but that did not make sense, as I could not feel that. I went so far as to view pictures of just about every covered bridge in NY in an attempt to figure out why I was drawn to them. Another clue that came in very strongly was canals. But it felt as though it had more to do with historical canals rather than present day canals. One of the clues that probably drove me nuts more than any other was “Happy Days” the TV show and diner. I was impressed to find that their was a Happy Days Diner on the highway that I was sure she would be found near. But, when I sent the authorities in that direction, nothing came of it.

I also had the crossing of the Delaware coming in as a clue and that that this was a reference to the Revolutionary War and every time that I went in that direction I felt that I was close to something, but just missing it. The most dramatic clue I had come through was when my television set turned it’s self on and then it flipped through channels landing on channel “6”. When I said six, I was told that I was hitting on a detail that was correct.

I kept seeing large equipment like construction equipment and thought that perhaps a gravel quarry or construction site of some type where they were excavating was nearby. She was found not too far from a large open pit mine. Being out in the country and near a reservoir along with dragonfly’s and a marsh were shown to me repeatedly and I was never able to figure out the dragonfly clue. Tattoo came through as well and I thought that it was a dragonfly tattoo or tattoo parlor that we may have been looking for.

One clue that I shared with the authorities and which felt very solid to me was ATV or dirt bikes. I saw a trail for off-road riding and that she was near it. In an email that I shared with some friends, I shared the following:

“Here are the clues in order of their apperance and how they came to me. Thank you for any help you can provide. I should add that it is possible that some of these clues are related to other missing persons in the area, while my focus is on “name omitted”, other spirits of missing individuals may try and ride the “coat tails”of this investigation so that they too may be located. While working a missing persons case in Oregon nearly two years ago, I provided clues and the actual whereabouts of five missing persons while I was only looking for two.

My first contact with the case came prior to my hearing about her. A friend of my wife works with one of (the victims) cousins and he then called me. He is in the military and is stationed at Fort Lewis in the Seattle/Tacoma area of Washington state. When he contacted me I asked for her name only and no additional details. The first thing I told him was that she had gone missing in the company of a man whom the police had already identified and whom they considered a person of interest. He confirmed that was the case and then I asked if he would be able to provide confirmation of details about her as they came through, he said that he was not real close to her and gave me the number of another family member who was closer to her.

Later that day I connected with another one of her cousins who is a truck driver and whom lives in Chicago. He had just returned from New York and had been involved in some of the early searches for her. He also knew her father whom had died a year prior. The Family is from (omitted). Her father did not speak English and there was no mention of him in the papers. The cousin from Chicago asked me to connect with her father. I secured a connection with him and began bringing through details about him. I described his clothing, his physical appearance, how he died and what he did for a living. Once nearly convinced that I was speaking to him, the cousin asked me another question to ask her father, the question was related to a trip that he had made with her father and that’s when the answers stopped making sense. I had a feeling that the father felt that he had already proved that it was him coming through and now he wanted to stop beating around the bush and start bringing forward details regarding her whereabouts.

Sadly there was a touch of a language barrier with the cousin I was speaking with and the phone reception was spotty. He asked what it was that he and her father had done together on his last trip to visit them. I was then shown a motorcycle, similar to a dirtbike, like motocross. He said no, they did not ride bikes, I asked if she had a motorcycle, he said no. No one coulod figure out why I was seeing a motorbike. Then I saw fishing … I described them fishing and he said yes, they had gone out on a boat and gone deep sea fishing or something like that in the Gulf. The problem was that I saw a different type of fishing, what looked like a river and people in waders fly fishing, he said that did not ring a bell.

Then I saw a dragonfly, I described it and he said that meant nothing to him, I then asked about a butterfly, perhaps a tattoo on her shoulder or ankle, I then saw that it was a dragonfly and not a butterfly and asked if he was positive that she did not have a dragonfly tattoo, he said that she had no tattoos. It simply did not make sense since I saw it so strongly.  Nothing new came through during the rest of the reading and so I called it quits for the time being.

That evening I had my TV turn it’s self on after we had finished watching a show and had turned it off. After turning it off and walking out of the room, I heard it turn back on. The remotes were in such a position that they would not have been able to work and the TV turned on and then went off of cable and the channel changed to a white noise/snow channel which happened to be number 6. I walked up to the TV and turned it off, I felt a very strong presence and as quickly as I turned it off, the TV turned it’s self right back on and back to channel 6. I then realized that someone wanted to send me a message and so I sat down to speak with the spirit. After about five minutes it dawned on me that I already had the message, the number 6. At this point I had not yet looked at any maps of the area and was not familiar with the region.

The next day I pulled up some maps of the area and to my surprise I found that route 6 runs right through the area that she went missing, not only that, but there was a tattoo shop right on route 6 and not too far away from where there was a place that looked as though motorbikes may be jumped etc., like an old field that had been used as a track. I called the police and the cousin and relayed the info to them. They later told me that they checked out the leads and that nothing had come of it.

At this point I began to spend about an hour or three a day in looking at maps of the area trying to piece together the clues and make sense of what happened to her. In what I believe was one of my conversations with her, she seemed to be very ashamed and did not seem to want to be found. Her family kept telling the press what a good girl she was and how the only way she would have left the club that night with a stranger, was if she had been drugged. I got the sense that if they found her body and ran a tox screen on it that they would not find drugs in her system and so that would hurt her family. I have felt that she has not wanted to cooperate very much in finding her body due to the condition it was left in and due to her family’s convictions that she was a “good” girl and would never do such things.

Around this same time, I had a visit from Harvey Milk and when he dropped by, he used music and the music videos that go along with the songs to communicate a message to me. I then asked for a similar clue to her whereabouts. I started picking up on Wheezers song about Happy Days. And earlier that same day I had a reading where I had something odd come through durning a reading after I briefly mentioned the case that I was working on. I saw a Chevy Camero that was tricked out hot rod style. The passenger window had a tray or something attached to it that was sticking outside of the car. I kept thinking that it was a camera mount for film passengers in a moving vehicle, but that did not fit. I finally dismissed it and finished the reading, later that day the song about the Happy Days diner came into my head and I looked it up on Youtube, I was not familiar with Happy Days or the song and while watching the video I was hit with wave upon wave of energy and found myself weeping very heavily. I thought that it was perhaps something in the video and I wrote down every word in background, I also checked the lyrics and though they seemed somewhat appropriate, they were not a clue. Then it dawned on me that the clue was the diner it’s self.

I found out that the diner was fictional and set in another state no where near New York. I then on a hunch googled the diner along with New York, turns out that there is a Happy Days diner in New York, on route 6! I pulled up their web site and found pictures of cars, hot rods and one of them was a Chevy Camero that looke just like the one I saw during the reading earlier in the day and of course they had food trays that rested on the window of the car.

The next video clue was Like a Virgin by Madonna. I could not make sense of the lyrics, they made no sense, but the video is filmed in the canals of Venice. Covered bridges also came through as being somewhat significant, or at least the view from inside of one of them, I thought that it was the crisscross wooden framework that seemed to be a visual clue, more so then the bridge it’s self. I also began to pick up on full circle or at least a circle shape. I thought that perhaps it was possible that she was in an old culvert, perhaps a storm drain or something. The image of looking up from the bottom of a storm drain and seeing a small circle of light gave me the chills and I kept feeling like there was a drop, like she was dropped into such a structure. Perhaps an old mine shaft, or something of that nature.

The dragonfly seems to me to be one of the best clues along with the motorbike, a watershed of some sort, and full circle. The canal clue along with 6 and the diner are very strong clues. I have often felt that there is a connection to a historical location that is tied to the Revolutionary War, and plankroad seems to get my attention as does a crossing of some kind.

I think that she may be found in near or in an old canal that may be dry at the moment. I think that she may wash out with the spring thaw and April showers. She is in a historical location and perhaps near a construction site.

Once I locate my notes I will go over them and add in any additional details that I may have brought forward while looking into her case.

More later …. off to work for now.

In a batch of notes that I kept regarding my investigation I found a piece of paper with the following written on it:

Dragonfly, Tattoo, Butterfly, Ankle, Dirtbike, Motorcycle, motocross, trail, track, circle, middle, the number 6, bridges (covered), near water, lake, pond, buried, in soil, outside, forest, Kings, Historical, connection to revolutionary war, Middletown, military in close proximity, NJ subway entrance, mines, powerlines, ballfields, medical center.

I have additional notes somewhere regarding this case and when they are located … I am sure that more will come together. For now though let’s take a look at the hits.

Hits: (Can be supported through an email and additional notes made prior to her body being located.)

I saw her body in a shallow grave at best, in a field where a reservoir and or lake and marsh was nearby.

I saw ATV trails, places for off road riding, she was found by ATV riders in an open field.

I saw a large open pit/mine/construction and large equipment, found near where her body was located.

The covered bridges … Pennsylvania has more than any other State in the nation and also had the nations first covered bridge,  she was found in Pennsylvania.

Time line … I saw her body being found in April, she was found in April.

Happy Days came through as a strong clue for awhile … the musical version of Happy Days toured through PA while I was investigating and there is a Happy Days diner off of Highway 6 in New York.

The number 6 came through many times and I was told it was the highway that she was off of, sure enough … her body was found right off of highway 6.

Historical references to canals came through several times while I was investigating the case, the town near where she was found is named for the former president of the Delaware Hudson Canal Company.

Several times I saw George Washington crossing the Delaware as a clue and mistook it for simply being a clue to the war, in fact she was transported across the Delaware river prior to having her body dumped.

Olyphant used to be known as the Queen city when King Charles had to settle a land dispute there … Kings kept coming through as a reference.

Full circle was a difficult to understand clue, it seemed to me to represent the possibility that her body was taken back to where she had been picked up from. When I got back to that area on the maps, (Manhattan) what jumped out at me was Penn Station, since from the air it looked like a huge circle or man hole cover (which) I thought I might be seeing. I also looked at cooling towers and waste treatment facilities since they had a similar appearance. looking back on it, Penn Station was the clue as she was trying to let me know that she was in Pennsylvania.

I had several misses, but when I look at the hits and the near hits … I can see that some of the information I should have taken literally. When shown a man crossing the Delaware, perhaps I should cross the Delaware too in my search for the individual instead of getting caught up in what the crossing of the Delaware represented in the battle for our nations independence.

Looking back on my work with the case, I wish that I had it to do over as I now see where I let the investigation get away from me. Now with a bit more experience and knowledge, I look forward to the next time I am asked to assist in an investigation of this nature.
