In the photo above you see Charles Peden with Milo a dog that was recovered in a parking garage that Milo led Charles to during a telephone consultation, at one point during the call Milo said “hang up already and come get me” 20 minutes later he was recovered.

As a psychic medium and animal communicator who takes great pride in being accurate, ethical and honest, it gives me great pains to “bomb” on a missing animal case.

As I recently had a case that went very poorly I would like to discuss it here so as to educate both those who do what I do as well as for those who seek out services such as the ones that I offer.

I was was contacted regarding a missing cat named Othello, not his real name … but it will do for my story.

He had gone missing and when I attempted to make contact with him, he did not connect very strongly if at all with us.

However my client said “yes” to details that I brought forward, even though I was not 100% accurate regarding the details of his age, appearance and so forth, she did not speak up – her own words in a subsequent email to me.

While not actually going through a death, I “saw” a vehicle and it seemed that he was no longer with us, so I figured he had a run in with a car and was most likely no longer with us.

Then weeks later I hear back from the client, her cat has been located through the use of his microchip. He was some distance away, Most likely transported by vehicle and I suspect he was living with another family that he may have preferred to his original “owner” regardless, when given the opportunity to connect with us, he failed to do so with any accuracy, through through the false positives my client had given me I was not aware that we did not have a solid connection with him.

As it turns out he was in very good condition when returned and based upon the evidence on the ground it would seem that he was living it up at another person’s home while his family was desperately searching for him.

The big question I have is why did my client give me false positive replies to details I brought forward? That does not help “us” it only hurts our abilities.

The other question is why did the cat not care enough about his original family to speak up when given the opportunity to communicate his condition and location?

It seems to me that the cats needs were not being fully met and that he took matters into his own hands, er paws and that he found a family that he preferred, and that when taken in to the vet or shelter in order to check up on him, the microchip was discovered and his little adventure came to a close.

I am only as good as the information I receive and if your missing animal left on their own accord, they may not wish to return. If your animal was with someone other than you, was spooked and went missing, or went missing for any reason other than leaving on their own accord, I can be highly effective.

Even if your animal does not wish to return, I can sometimes get them to open up about their complaints so that their home life may be adjusted to better suit their needs, and then they may wish to return.

If you give me false positives in the hope of “making something happen” the only thing that will happen is you and I will be disappointed with the end result. Please be honest when working with those in my profession.

The end result of this case was that I squeezed the client in with less then 24 hours notice, I scheduled them prior to when I usually make it into the office and I provided at the very least one or two follow up consultations in an attempt to recover the body of their missing animal.

So … why did I bring forward inaccurate information concerning her cat? There are several possibilities.

The cat may have told me a line of bull so as to get his owner off his back – doubtful as the details concerning his connection with me turned out to be inaccurate – as my client had said “yes” when she should have said “no”.

I suspect that either past cats of hers or other cats in the area may have tried to ride the coattails of my investigation into his disappearance.

Another possibility is that other missing animals that I had on my schedule “bled through” and tried to connect with me given that the cat that we wanted to contact was not connecting with us.

Regardless I provided a full refund for my time even though I can assure you that other professions such as search dog handlers were compensated even though they too were not able to secure the missing animal.

We, (animal communicators) are simply another tool that may be utilized when an animal goes missing. We are not a “magic bullet” if your animal left on their own and does not wish to come in there is very little we can do.

We can of course offer to chat with the animal regarding why they are leaving and perhaps their home life can be improved so that they wish to return, I have been successful with this approach in the past – on occasion.

If your animal is motivated to return and is still in good health, I can locate them even if they are three states away in the middle of a 500 square mile cattle ranch with desert scrub brush and no roads.

Please understand that the work we do is highly emotionally charged and can be very draining, the last thing that I want to do is tell someone that their missing animal is deceased – I would much rather bring forward something else, but when lied to during a reading or given false positives in the hope of forcing something to happen you not only hurt yourself, but your animal and myself or anyone else who you call upon to assist you in recovering your missing animal.

Bottom line:

Missing animal investigations are challenging and very highly emotionally charged – I can see why some animal communicators do not take them on. I have thought about not getting involved with them, but I have way too many joyful reunions and successful recoveries to ever consider no longer offering my services for recovering missing animals.

Charles Peden Psychic Medium & Animal Communicator

Since 2006 Charles Peden a Psychic Medium and Animal Communicator, (pet psychic) has been assisting people find their missing and lost animals. Through the use of telepathic communication Peden is able to connect with the missing animal and bring forward details only known to the owner in order to confirmation a connection with the animal.

Details such as an accurate physical description, the animals age, circumstances surrounding the disappearance and more may be brought forward to confirm a connection with the lost animal.

Please do not provide a photograph or a description of the missing animal, Peden likes to work with a “blank slate” so to speak.

Peden works with only a name to go on and after the confirmation of a connection has been established, Peden will ask the animal a series of questions to determine what has happened to them and most importantly where they are.

Animals are able to relay detailed information such as the names of towns, street names, numbers, smells and sounds within the area and more to Peden so that a focused search of the area where the animal is can begin.

While not every case ends in a joyful re-union, the majority of those contacting Peden for help with locating a missing animal will either receive closure or find their missing animal.

Most recently a lost dog in Tucson, Arizona was located after the owners contacted Peden to help in recovering their missing animal. They “drove right to him” based upon the information that Peden was able to provide.

Recent Testimonial:

Hello Charles,

Carly returned just in time to celebrate my birthday with me last week. 🙂

One of the key elements in the reading was geese being fattened up for slaughter. You directed me to Slaughterville Road, and a church with a white steeple on that road. I left flyers there and planted a poster at the nearest stop sign. I drove down a hwy in the area that I’d never driven before. I felt very lost and unsure if I was headed in a helpful direction. Its importance didn’t register with me at the time, but I passed a tire shop – a place that uses an air gun/impact wrench type tool that makes noise like what Carly described to you that she could hear. Though I felt I was far away from the right search point, I planted a poster at that intersection. Later I discovered that tire shop was in close proximity to where Carly was ultimately found, only I had approached it from the opposite direction.

The next day I got a call from a woman, Teresa, who had sighted Carly. She saw one of my posters and called to say Carly had been at her house two nights prior. Her son wanted to keep her, but her husband said no, she belongs to someone, let her go back to her home. They never realized of course just how far from home she actually was. Well, the woman and her family live in Slaughterville! I knew we were on to something, so I rushed out there to put more posters in that vicinity. As I was hanging posters, Teresa drove past and introduced herself. She had more news – Carly had been at a neighbor’s house the night before, eating from an automatic feeder! Now we have a sighting only 14 hours earlier.

Later that evening, Teresa called to say she had Carly in her car! She had driven further east of where Carly was last seen, and found her walking down the street. This was at least 1.5 miles from Teresa’s house.

When I arrived at Teresa’s house to get Carly, I noticed the house had dark, muted green shutters – the dark green trim you saw in the reading. Also notable is that they are building an addition on the house – another possible source of the air gun sound – a nail gun?

Your intuitive input along with old fashioned footwork and good-hearted people combined to bring my girl home!

Thank you so much for your invaluable help.
